I've been confirmed to present some talks at DevDays Netherlands on March 7-8. I'll be talking about my favorite subjects, SQL Server 2005 and ADO.NET 2.0. It will be good to catch up with the folks from Class-A. Anko, Astrid, and Alex will also be presenting. I'm trying to line up some advance copies of A Developer's Guide to SQL Server 2005 , but that may be pushing the scheduled publication date a bit.

After DevDays I'll be giving an Immersion Event in the area covering SQL Server 2005 in depth, from a development perspective. I'll even be talking about best practices now that folks, especially the early adopters who developed products to be released along with the SQL Server release itself, have had a chance to practice.  If you've not had a chance to explore SQL Server 2005, now's your chance. See you there.

I currently have a position available for SQL Support Technician. This position entails providing SQL Server support directly for Microsoft. It affords the opportunity to work directly with Microsoft employees and their latest technologies, including SQL Server 2005. In this year-long contract opportunity the contractor will be communicating directly with corporate customers via telephone, written correspondence, or electronic service regarding problems identified in Microsoft SQL Server software. The networking and technology exposure benefits of this position are nearly endless and will greatly enhance market value. I understand from my research that you are a leader in the field and you may know of a good resource to find quality candidates or may know of some yourself.

Thanks!!

Andrew

Too bad you aren't coming to Belgium for the DevDays :-(
I saw Kimberley last year and she was really amazing.

Well... maybe next year?

I'd have gone to Belgium DevDays if I had been invited this year. Just ask that I be invited next year. :-)

Cheers, Bob

I hear that (about the beer). And I'm known for my enjoyment of good beer. I've had Belgian beer elsewhere, but not yet had it in Belgium.
