This question is slightly at a tangent, Would you be able to give some advice on how to get into training users for SQL Server?

First to Charlie - thanks! It wasn't really the conversation that I thought we were going to have but it certainly did generate a laugh or two. Carl and Richard are in soooo much trouble when we see them this week (quite a few folks are in Redmond, WA this week for the MVP Summit and we're going to get together for beers!).

Now - as for Jack - There are really two questions I need to ask in return: when you say "get into training users" do you mean end-user training (for example - application training and/or "transact-sql queries" type of training and/or more technical training for sys admin types of users. And - I think even more importantly, do you mean for public courses OR do you mean for internal training within your org? When it boils down to it, there are quite a few different approaches for getting into training AND there are many different types of training. If you want to "open a shop" and start doing end-user training (with public courses), I think it'd be somewhat challenging. However, if you're going to target large companies with training courses for end-users, I'd think that would be easier with less overhead. However, I'm not sure how you'd get in with those companies except for advertising within SQL publications and/or on the web.

Well, give me a bit more insight into where you'd like to go with this discussion and I'd be happy to brainstorm!
