This week I'm at SQL Connections in Las Vegas - and there have been some very exciting sessions and amazing enthusiam for VS/SQL Server in general. However, I think the links in this blog entry will "take the prize" in excitement for the launch of VS. This link comes from a fellow RD in Korea - Dongbum Lee - who's team of employees (and of course himself - playing the DJ/Rapper) do a rap song for VS. It's in Korean but there's an English translation in text at the bottom.

If you're reading *my* blog then you're probably just as interested in the upcoming SQL Server 2005 launch as I am. There are many launch events scheduled around the world and I hope you'll find time to attend one - even if remotely. IT's ShowTime - from TechNet - will be broadcasting Steve Ballmer's Launch Keynote on Monday - LIVE - at 5pm GMT. Get all of the details about the launch broadcast by clicking the picture above.

To complement the LIVE broadcast, IT's Showtime has also dedicated a whole SQL Server section of presentations here: http://www.microsoft.com/emea/itsshowtime/sqlserver.aspx

Enjoy!

On Friday, November 4, Kimberly L. Tripp completed part 10 of a 10-part series on developing Reliable and Scalable applications for an MSDN Webcast series. Each session had the format of a 90 minute content session followed by a 30 minute content specific Q&A. This session was a summary session for the entire series and included a lot of great questions. To get you started with many of the links to other sessions and even for some of the scripts used throughout this series - check out this blog entry. Enjoy!
