This Friday I’ll deliver an MSDN webcast on SQL Server Indexing – for people who are not SQL Server experts. It’s a good overview of what you should look for, what you should do and which tools will give you the best bang for the buck when used correctly… Here’s the MSDN link: http://msevents.microsoft.com/cui/eventdetail.aspx?eventid=1032252961&culture=en-us. See you there!
Wow! Wow! Wow! THANK YOU!
I announced my retirement from SQL/tech here and your comments on my blog, on LinkedIn, and on Facebook were overwhelming and humbling! I’m so touched

Sounds good, would like to see it, but apparently the link doesn’t work (anymore…)!?
Hey there Marc – MSDN goes through some edits/cleanup, etc. before posting the webcast for "ondemand" viewing. I’m going to work with them to also provide all of the Q&A (which I’m still working on :), the scripts, etc. on that main msdn webcast/webpage. So, give us until Monday/Tuesday and then after that you should be able to watch it! I’ll blog about it for sure!
And – fyi – you can see past webcasts at http://www.microsoft.com/usa/webcasts/ondemand and "Indexes from Every Angle – Finding the Right Balance" should be there shortly.
Thanks!

Great, thanks for the info. I saw one of your sessions on the TechEd 2003 Barcelona which was really excellent, so I am looking forward to see the webcast :)
