Well, if you store the results in a user database, those results that you collect and save will survive restarting SQL Server. This old blog post has a script that you can use to get started.

]]>Many thanks for the DMV query sets, they are very useful. I completed your modules on PluralSight recently and have already used the SQL 2008 R2 set to great effect. I have an idea to place some of the results into a SQL DB and make them available via SSRS, to highlight issues easily, but given the nature of the result sets being linked to the last restart, I wonder how I can make the trends meaningful, have you any posts or thoughts on the idea?
