Let&#39;s try:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\n\t<font face=\"courier new,courier\">CREATE DATABASE BootPageTest;<br \/>\n\tGO <\/font>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<font face=\"courier new,courier\">&#8212; Single page restore is only possible using the FULL recovery model<br \/>\n\tALTER DATABASE BootPageTest SET RECOVERY FULL;<br \/>\n\tGO <\/font>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<font face=\"courier new,courier\">BACKUP DATABASE BootPageTest TO DISK = &#39;C:sqlskillsBootPageTest.bck&#39;;<br \/>\n\tGO<br \/>\n\tBACKUP LOG BootPageTest TO DISK = &#39;C:sqlskillsBootPageTest.trn&#39;;<br \/>\n\tGO <\/font>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<font face=\"courier new,courier\">RESTORE DATABASE BootPageTest PAGE = &#39;1:9&#39; FROM DISK = &#39;C:sqlskillsBootPageTest.bck&#39;;<br \/>\n\tGO <\/font>\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<font face=\"courier new,courier\">Msg 3111, Level 16, State 1, Line 2<br \/>\n\tPage (1:9) is a control page which cannot be restored in isolation. To repair this page, the entire file must be restored.<br \/>\n\tMsg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 2<br \/>\n\tRESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally. <\/font>\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<font face=\"Verdana\" size=\"2\">The answer is no.
