See this official blog post <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.technet.com\/b\/dataplatforminsider\/archive\/2008\/01\/25\/microsoft-sql-server-2008-roadmap-clarification.aspx\">here<\/a>. The official launch will still go ahead as planned on February 27<SUP>th<\/SUP>.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>While some people may see this as disappointing, I don&#8217;t see many large customers going straight into SS2008 when it comes out so I, for one, am glad they&#8217;re taking the time to ensure a high-quality release.<\/P><\/FONT><\/FONT><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft has announced that the RTM date of SQL Server 2008 has slipped out to Q3 of this year.
