Starting in 2015 we at SQLskills would love to present remotely for your user group, anywhere in the world<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong> Kimberly and I recently did a series of remote presentations from Redmond, WA, US to Australia and New Zealand, including two-way video in some cases, and the bandwidth worked great. It’s not feasible for us to travel to user groups or SQL Saturdays unless we’re already in that particular city, but remote presentations are easy to do and are becoming more and more popular. This way we can spread the community love around user groups everywhere that we wouldn’t usually get to in person.<\/p>\n

All SQL Server user groups can get Lync accounts for free and that’s what we used for our presentations. If you have some other mechanism you usually use, we can accommodate that too.<\/p>\n
