\nThis survey is based on a suggestion from Jonathan Kehayias (<\/font>blog<\/font><\/a>\/<\/font>Twitter<\/font><\/a>). <\/font>\n<\/p>\n

\nIn this survey I'm asking two questions: <\/font>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tWhen you're designing\/implementing a database, do you manually create statistics or let SQL Server create them automatically? <\/font>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n
    \n\tHow do you maintain statistics? Manually or letting SQL Server do it for you? Or both? <\/font>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \nI'll probably collaborate with Kimberly on the editorial for this, as she's forgotten more about statistics than I'll ever know! <\/font>\n<\/p>\n
