So Bob, what leads you say "ote that "vNext" isn’t V3.0, which doesn’t include these new ADO.NET items." Do you mean its not the next version of ADO.NET or its not in the next version of the CLR? Inquiring minds want to know. 🙂
It’s not in the next version of the CLR, which is 3.0. This only contains (AFAIK) WCF, WWF, and WPF.
