As you may have noticed, I *really* like blogging and writing about SQL Server (to the point that Kimberly jokes in our sessions and workshops that I blog so much I don't sleep…). Well, to cap off our very successful conference season, I'm very pleased to announce that I've just been made a Contributing Editor of TechNet Magazine, with effect from the January 2009 issue (due out in a couple of weeks). This means a huge amount to me and is great incentive for years more blog posts and articles – maybe now they'll let me do an article all about DBCC CHECKDB smiley smile Paul Randal named Contributing Editor of TechNet Magazine.

Thanks to everyone who reads and responds to my articles and Q&A columns in the magazine, and to (my editor) Senior Editor Matthew Graven, and the magazine Editor-in-Chief Joshua Hoffman!
