I was reading through some gardening books this morning trying to identify a plant we had last year that died over the winter (I was successful – it was a Tibouchina Urvilleana (Princess Flower)) and thought I'd break out the 50mm and 100mm macro lenses and shoot some close-ups myself. It was just a simple flower but definitely beautiful. A flower like that is somewhat rare since it’s not that visible in many places like in our country so let me thank you for sharing it.
