SQLskills hires all-round SQL expert Erin Stellato

Demand dictates that we hire another SQL guru to join our close-knit, expert team!

Specifically, we’ve asked well-known SQL expert and MVP Erin Stellato to join us and we’re extremely pleased that she accepted our offer. She’ll become employee #7 when she starts with us on Wednesday, August 1st. She brings a ton of experience and knowledge to the team and we’re particularly looking forward to integrating her extensive client support experience, and knowledge of handling widely-deployed vendor applications on top of SQL Server from the vendor perspective.

We’ve all known Erin for years (a prerequisite for working here) and she’s been a strong contributor to the SQL Community: on Twitter (@ErinStellato), on her well-known blog (here), and as a frequent speaker at user groups, SQL Saturdays, and last year’s PASS Summit.

Erin’s been working with SQL Server since 2003 in a variety of technical and leadership roles for SQL Server on client systems, which has given her expertise in internals, HA/DR, and performance troubleshooting. She also has extensive training and mentoring experience, which combined with deep troubleshooting comprise our bread-and-butter here at SQLskills.

Outside of SQL Server, Erin is married with two kids and puts us all to shame with the amount of running that she does!

Erin is an excellent addition to our world-class consulting team and we’re very excited that she’s coming on board – welcome!

Thanks as always,

Paul and Kimberly

  1. Congrats and will be nice to see something from the vendor side of things, especially how most 3rd party applications don’t seems to fully understand security. ;)
