Erin’s new course is called SQL Server: Understanding and Using DBCC Commands and is just over 2.25 hours long. It covers all the documented DBCC commands and a few of the undocumented ones, plus Erin goes into details about how to use DMVs, when available, to provide more detailed information.
The modules are:
- Introduction
- Basic Commands
- Informational Commands
- Maintenance Commands
- Validation Commands
- Undocumented Commands
Check it out here.

Even more unbeatable for people who saw your blog post three hours ago and score a free six-month subscription as a result, lol!
I wont lie, I got pretty excited about that DBCC HELP command…
Watched the DBCC course earlier this week, very enjoyable, packed full of info and I’m still making notes on the highlights 3 days later, also lead me back to viewing the two “Corruption” courses which I’d somehow missed.
